The deck
Not a deck of answers — a deck of songs.
Songdeck is an oracle deck with one difference: every card can sing. Thirty-six cards, each with its own illustration and title — There is Joy in My Voice, to name one — and a few written lines to take the drawing further. On the back of every card sits a QR code. Scan it with the free app, and that card's own music plays: a song, a mantra, or a soundscape from the Authentic Singing work.
Drawing a card is already a small ritual — a question, a shuffle, an answer you didn't choose yourself. The Songdeck adds the part words can't do. The card doesn't just tell you something. It sings it.

Almost everything we do at Songdance moves outward: you make the sound of what's there, and nobody plays you anything. The Songdeck is the one shelf in the house where the direction turns around. Here, music is offered to you — the way a friend, instead of asking what happened, makes you a warm drink and finds you a blanket. One direction isn't superior to the other. They bring different things.

Draw a card
With a question in mind, or none at all. Sit with the illustration and the title, then read the card's message.
Scan the back
Every card carries a QR code. The free Songdeck app reads it and finds the song that belongs to your card.
Let it play
Listen once through. Then, if you like, sing along — softly is fine too.
Five ways to use a card
Each card is an invitation into Authentic Singing. Combine them freely:
- Simply listening
- Humming or chanting along
- Making sound freely
- Singing out loud — even if you think you can't
- Moving your body to the music
A tip printed inside the lid: connect a speaker. The songs sound far better through a real speaker than a phone.
It plays whatever you scan, keeps your favourites for the days the box is elsewhere, and can send a song to someone who doesn't own a deck.

The songs normally live behind the cards — you scan, the app plays. But nobody should order a box of music they've never heard. So a few of the songs sit on an open demo page. Go listen. The box can wait.
