A deepening trajectory

More than a training. A path.

The certification course is a series of live classes — some already recorded and ready the moment you join, the rest held live together — weekly Q&As, hosted practice sessions, monthly live deepening sessions with Jacob and fellow practitioners, the Somatic Vocal Healing app to practise with, and a global community of fellow travellers.

You don't have to want to work professionally with this to belong here. Many participants are here to go further into their own healing — to learn how to travel through the layers of a sound, how to meet ancestors, how to hold space for the parts of themselves no one ever held space for.

The certificate is real. So is the path of becoming a practitioner. But the heart of this course is the journey itself.

Find your place on the path
Don't let the name fool you

The name certification course can be misleading. Yes — it leads to the certificate, to opening your own practice, to weaving Somatic Vocal Healing into the work you already do. But that is only part of it. At heart, this is a deepening trajectory — a path that takes you further into the work than anything else we offer, because every session, if you join, is held live, with us in the room together.

— Jacob

This course has a dual purpose. First, it is about you. Second, about your capacity to guide, facilitate, and hold space for others. Everything you learn to do for someone else can perfectly be applied to yourself.

What you'll learn

The shape of becoming a practitioner.

A deep understanding of vocal sound

How to travel through the layers of a sound — how to recognise feelings (high, low, trembling, sharp), how to follow what is underneath the first sound, how to land in the body, the lineage, or the present moment, and how to guide a whole vocal sound session from beginning to end.

Emotional expertise — the core emotions

A real fluency in the emotions that live underneath a sound: anger, fear, pain and grief. How each one moves, how it disguises itself, and how to meet it through the voice — so you can recognise what is truly being expressed and stay with it.

Systemic constellation templates

How to weave constellation work into a sounding session — how to bring in mother, father, grandmother, ancestors; how to give back what is not yours to carry; how to find the right sentences and let sound do the rest.

Therapeutic skills for safe, ethical facilitation

Pacing. Regulation. Co-regulation. The volume button. Catching the pebble before the avalanche. Knowing when to lead, when to hold, when to interrupt a story, and when to let the silence do the work.

The art of receiving information from sound

Listening with the body, not just the ear. Distinguishing grief from pain, fear from overwhelm. Reading what is at the tip of the voice. Knowing when a sound belongs to the person and when it belongs to someone else.

The inner work of the practitioner

Shadow, fixation, projection. What happens when a client's material touches your own. Transference and counter-transference. The honest work of doing your own work so that you can be fully present for someone else.

Practice. A lot of practice.

Hosted practice sessions, peer exchanges, and a final supervised practice class where you lead in front of the group and receive direct feedback from Jacob and Karen.

Structure

How the work lives in time.

Live classes & instant access

A series of two-hour classes. The ones already held are yours to watch the moment you join — with their written manuals. The ones still to come are held live, together.

Weekly Q&A sessions

Through end of 2026, with Jacob — and occasionally hosted by Karen Evans.

Monthly live deepening sessions

A live two-hour community session each month, bringing together alumni and current students to explore the work at its widest edges.

Hosted practice sessions

Pairing up with other students to give and receive — the quiet engine of this course. Most students say this is where their facilitation actually grows.

A growing global community

Hundreds of people across time zones, with a shared field that is built and rebuilt each week.

Full replay library

Every Q&A, every class, every deepening session. Yours to keep returning to.

Bringing it all together. Reflection, integration, next steps — and the door to becoming a certified practitioner.

Live on Sun, Oct 4, 2026 · 7:00pm CEST

Monthly deepening sessions

Where the work keeps opening.

Once a month, current students and alumni gather live with Jacob to take the work wider — into questions that don't fit a single class, experiences that need more space, the practice as it lives now. Each session runs two hours. As a certification student you have instant access to every past session and full access to the live and upcoming ones through the end of 2026.

The Somatic Vocal Healing app

Keep the practice alive between sessions.

The work doesn't only happen on the live calls. Your voice is with you every day — and so is the app. Train your skills, record and tag your own sounds, sharpen your ear, and stay connected to a community of fellow practitioners, all from your pocket.

  • Make your sound

Sit down with a question — “how am I feeling in this moment?” — and let your voice answer. The app holds the space so you can sound whenever you need to, not only when a session is on.

  • Record & tag your own sounds

Keep a living library of your voice. Record, name and tag each sound, and return to it later to hear how your expression — and your listening — keeps changing.

  • Train your ear

Short quizzes and training rounds sharpen the core skill of the work: recognising the feeling underneath a sound. Grief, fear, anger, pain — learn to hear them, one sound at a time.

  • Practise with a community

Review one another’s sounds, climb the leaderboard, and feel the field of fellow practitioners around you between the live calls.

Included with the certification course — yours to practise with, day by day.

Weekly Q&A sessions

Every week. Through the end of 2026.

A live hour with Jacob — and on the weeks Jacob is not on the call, with Karen Evans, co-facilitator on the course. This is where the smaller, in-between questions are met. Where students bring what came up in a practice session and want to look at it together. Where the work is examined out loud, week after week, until it becomes second nature.

Every Q&A is recorded. As a certification student, you have full access to the live sessions and the complete replay library.

Who this is for

For those who recognise some of the following.

  • You're here because you've felt what this work can do. Maybe a single workshop already shifted something old. Maybe you've been with the 12-week course and you don't want to stop.
  • You want to go deeper. Not just for one more healing experience, but to learn the work from the inside out.
  • You want to hold space. Maybe for one person at a time, maybe for a group, maybe for yourself. You want to know how to do it well.
  • You're a practitioner already — therapist, coach, sound healer, breathworker, psychologist, body worker, teacher — and you want a tool that reaches the layers your current tools cannot.
  • Or you have no professional ambition at all, and you simply want this for yourself. That is enough.

A note on what this course is not: it is not a comprehensive training to become a therapist, coach, or psychologist. It is a course in Somatic Vocal Healing specifically. If you intend to work with clients professionally, you should already have a background in holding space and navigating emotional processes.

If you're wondering whether this course is for you — the wondering is part of it. So is the certainty. Whoever steps in — sure-footed, trembling, or both at once — is met by the same work. What this asks for is your willingness to listen.

— Jacob
From people who have travelled this path

In their own words.

Working with this modality has completely changed my life — from being called 'walking dead' at work to almost completely living a normal life. It works on deep levels. On old, severe emotional traumas, family traumas, generational traumas. I've worked with clients who have been in therapy for 20 years and haven't left the house for 10. And they've been able to get on a train and go to the opera, hang out with friends they hadn't seen in years. It's changed how I work with clients — no matter what I do, hypnotherapy, anything — this is the core piece. Everything else is adjunct, because this is so effective with people.

Karen Evans Co-facilitator

I just find that I am able to express myself in a more authentic way than I have ever done before. And I find that so liberating. It builds a trust in me. I would be the type of person who would not say anything and then just explode. But more and more, that is becoming less. It changes everything — a seismic thing changing fundamentally at the very core. And because of that, different plants are growing out of the cracks.

Katrina Course participant

I've just come from a work meeting, and my boss came up to me afterwards and said, “I really like how you spoke, it's really interesting to listen to how you give your ideas.” People never used to say that to me — because it wasn't true, I wasn't able to do that. What really excites me is that I can get into my own world and get out there and be authentically expressing myself. That, to me, is the hugest freedom.

Katrina Course participant

I still have many insecurities around sounding. But the more I practice and the more I feel seen and heard, it really changes my everyday confidence. How I step up, how I deal with people, how I deal with conflicts, how I release the emotions and work through them. I am not sure I will ever feel complete in this work — still so much to explore. But these sessions gave me so much confidence, and so much love back and forth. I am grateful for this.

Susanna Course participant

I had a terrible migraine when I joined the session. During the exercise of sounding the sound of pain, I went straight to the head. There was such a vibration behind my right ear that I almost had to leave. Then I felt a release, and by the end of the session the migraine was completely gone. That’s how beautiful this work can be — in the small migraine ways and in all sorts of other things you can’t even imagine come up and get released.

Becoming a certified practitioner

The certificate is a doorway. Three requirements to walk through.

The certificate is the door — into your own practice, into integrating Somatic Vocal Healing with the work you already do, into a community of practitioners holding this work in the world.

01

Attend all live classes — or watch the replays.

The full arc of the course matters. Every class builds on the last. If life pulls you away from a live session, the replay is enough — the manual is enough — but the material needs to be received.

02

Participate in some of the online practice sessions.

You don't certify by reading. You certify by sounding, by holding space, by being held. The hosted practice sessions are where this happens.

03

Record and submit one video where you demonstrate working with someone.

A real session, with a real person. You facilitate. You hold space. You send it to Jacob, and he gives you feedback.

— Three requirements. Each one a natural part of walking the path. —
